Following our successful first ever get-together of UK-wide BedPosts members in Oxford over the period 25th - 27th January 2012, the BreakAway will happen again in February 2013. The event is partly social and partly business.

The business part is described under Conference programme and is bookable on-line under Conference tickets. The conference is open to day trippers not taking part in the BreakAway. Indeed the whole event is pick 'n' mix.

Some members will be starting to assemble and getting together informally in the bar of the Legacy Falcon Hotel which will be the centre of BedPosts activities. There is ample free parking at rear in Scholars Lane. Others will be booked in at one of the plethora of nearby guest houses. Co-ordinates and booking arrangements;

£80 per night B&B for two people sharing (quote BedPosts Conference). Anyone staying for more than one night might wish to look at their winter wine and dine deal instead (only accessible from the online booking section on their website).

The exceptions are the conference and group dinner which must be paid for through the BedPosts website. A discounted theatre ticket may also be pre-bought.

"And whether or not you see a play, be sure to visit the Royal £espeare Theatre because it’s not just a theatre anymore. You used to have to buy a ticket to get in, but now it has cafés, a restaurant and a shop. Another must is a trip up the RSC Tower, which has terrific views of the surrounding area."

7.15pm Performance of The Winters Tale at the RSC. Many of us are taking advantage of the £5-off for group booking concession for which advance tickets may be bought through the BedPosts website. The net cost of these tickets will be £34 per head. We have reserved 20 seats in rows C/D of the stalls C4-C13 and D1-D10. The cast plays to all three sides of the stage and we're told it's possible to see the entire set from there. The booking expires on 2nd January 2013 and the facility to buy these tickets will be taken down at the end of 2012. There are both cheaper and dearer tickets which you can buy at your own volition if you prefer.
