Of course there is an opportunity to have some fun too. Last year's event seemed to have a good format which may be replicated: dinner on the day of the conference; tourist activities on the day after the conference. Take a look at what we did in Oxford 2012, Stratford-upon-Avon 2013 and York 2014 and come forward with your suggestions to improve the programme below.

Regarding references to "dinner" below: we are looking at somewhere casual for Monday, more formal Tuesday and a bit different Wednesday, in some cases a fixed menu, all reasonably priced with three courses at £25 or less, venues cannot be confirmed until we have an idea of numbers. We would look at around 7.30 for all three nights.

The business part is described under Conference programme and is bookable on-line under Ticket sales 2015. The conference is open to day trippers not taking part in the BreakAway. Indeed the whole event is pick 'n' mix.

The Hospitality Show at the NEC: Our event had been timed so that accommodation providers can take in this show on the day prior to our conference (or on Wednesday 21st if they prefer that to the social day). Register now for a free entry ticket. Visitors using public transport please advise, as a lift to Warwick may be arranged.

Some members will be starting to assemble, checking in to accommodation and getting together informally. An evening meal is being arranged for members who would like to join.

Members are responsible for booking themselves in, and paying for their own accommodation, food and bar bills. The exception is the conference which must be paid for through the BedPosts website, in early January.

Assembly for the Conference in Coach House at Warwick Castle, Warwick CV34 4QU will be between 09.30 and 10.00 am.and finish at 4.30 pm.

Day delegates need not rush off and can join us for dinner (at an extra cost).

This could be £4 a head guided walk for about 1.5 hours or a free downloaded-from-internet guide or a 50p printed details & map from Warwick Museum.

Lord Leycester provides independent homes for retired servicemen similar to the Royal Chelsea Hospital for Pensioners.

Entrance fee £5.90 but for 6 guineas (£6.30) the Master will give personal guided tour. However the Master is very keen on B&B owners because they recommend their guests to visit, and he has given us a special deal of half price for the tour (3 guineas) and lunch of homemade soup and sandwiches in the Great Hall for £8.50. (Numbers needed 7 days prior).

The buildings also house one of Warwick's 3 military museums - The Queen's Own Hussars
